There is a poem by Roy Campbell called "Horses of the Camargue" that has long reminded me of Emily Rose. The poem is about the beauty of wild horses, and when I see Emily Rose, I hear in my mind part of it.
"Then in their strength and pride
They feel their Master's trident in their side
And high and shrill they answer to his voice
With White tails smoking free
Long streaming manes, and arching necks, they show
Their kinship to their sisters of the sea
